Using this platform as a model for the actual FVF site, has proven to be a great tool to get into the grove of writing and reporting on any of the multiple projects we are involved in. In October, we are planning a small art show on Coronado Island. The show is in the works and confirmation of the artist will be posted Friday in the PM. The venue hosting the show is a new cigar shop located on the eastern part of the island. Be on the lookout for the specifics...

The Getdown Flier
The Getdown was a San Diego institution in hip hop culture. The event has drawn thousands to the one night bi-monthly event, which played host to numerous dj's and bboys from all over the globe. The event was the brainchild of 1520 Sedgewick DJ's Mane One, Son of Jarel, and Reddroom Production's Mike Logik. I was fortunate enough to be brought on for this event which took place at Mira Mesa, CA's Epicentre. The event drew 450 guests for the single night event which consisted of an art auction to benefit the Epicentre, as well as a four on four bboy competition.
